An architecture student doing his dissertation on Rococo buildings in the Baroque capital of the world, Lecce, Italy, has a chance run in with a disavowed assassin, as she tries to hide from retaliating enemies. As their relationship develops and the danger mounts, they plan to escape their former lives and meet on the train platform, but only one will make it.
